Fishbar Noordzee is one of our favorite places in Brussels.
This fish shop has a bar, some standing tables across and enthusiastic staff. They serve super fresh fish streetfood.Go there for lunch or dinner on sunny days. You’ll find some die-hards from the moment it stops freezing and it doesn’t rain. The food is too good to wait for the few sunny days.
Our all time favorites are the shrimp croquettes, ‘kibbelings’ a famous Dutch dish that is made of deep fried fish, tuna steak lightly seared, all served with fresh tomatoes and a home made tartare sauce.
Other delicious dishes you can try are the fish soup and calamares.
Order at the counter (the white wine is also great), pay and wait for them to shout your name. Enjoy the sun and the city vibes.
On sunny Thursdays, their shop / bar at Place Luxembourg can be a exciting experience. People from the offices nearby gather on the square to enjoy a drink and some finger food.
